A new version of dziennik.pl

9 August 2010

A new version of dziennik.pl is the result of our collaboration with the publishing house Axel Springer Polska. The website was launched in early July.

Dziennik.pl is one of the most popular and influential daily news providers in Poland. Giving the website a lifestyle twist, we focused on enlarging the target group. The new artwork we created for dziennik.pl transformed the site into a state-of-the-art portal with a clear and easy-to-use content layout, intuitive navigation and pleasent look. We are proud to have participated in this project! It kept us busy for the last few months while we were closely collaborating with the team of dziennik.pl who has comissioned the new version of the website. (Dziennik.pl was previously a part of Axel Springer and currently belongs to Infor Biznes.) We have created a new logotype that reflects better the modern style of the site. Creating the new artwork was preceeded by prototyping, functional testing and designing an appropriate information architecture. The last of those three was our main focus during the proccess. An intuitive interface of Dziennik.pl will be easy to use, even for less experienced users. We also created a stylebook for future reference to keep the same style of artwork and the same functionalities.
