Operon Racing

The Operon Pedagogical Publishing House is a partner of Velux 5 Oceans yacht race and is a sponsor of Zbigniew Gutkowski - the first Polish sailor who took part in the around the globe Velux 5 Oceans race. We created a website of operon racing, where Zbigniew Gutkowski's passions and emotions that accompanied him during this ultimate challenge were shared.

The website includes: a detailed description of the race (including news and interesting facts), biography and achievements of Zbigniew Gutkowski, a section for press and a section with multimedia materials (video, audio, gallery). The users of the site could also track the racing route on the satellite tracking map.

The site OPERON RACING was one of the elements of the programme "Operon Academy". This programme enabled students and teachers to participate in many interesting educational projects that inspired to thinking and creative activity. The race was a great occasion to connect adventures of the hero - Zbigniew Gutkowski with the educational programme for schools. On the site teachers could find inspiring, useful and interesting educational materials for their lessons at school.
